Launch Out Into The Deep | Representing God in the Workplace - Pt 3 | R. Barnwell

This teaching articulates two primary dimensions through which believers are called to represent God within the workplace. First, it emphasises the ethical and theological significance of diligent labour. Believers are exhorted to embody a high standard of work ethic, understanding their vocational activity as participatory in, and reflective of, God’s own creative work. This theme was developed in the preceding session, establishing work not merely as functional or economic activity, but as a theologically meaningful practice. Second, the teaching presents God as an initiator and establisher of productive environments. Drawing on the Genesis narrative, where God establishes a “garden” as a context for human labour, believers are encouraged to mirror this divine pattern by creating, shaping, and sustaining environments in which others may be positioned for fruitful and productive work. This teaching is a prophetic catalyst, designed to provoke a bold launch into the deep and to awaken engagement with the supernatural dimension of God in the workplace and business environment.
