This video shows the research methods and modeling techniques being used to create my work-in-progress digital 3D model of the Viking '75 Mars lander. The Viking project was NASA's first project to soft-land a spacecraft on Mars, which was accomplished in 1976 when both Viking 1 and 2 landed safely and carried out numerous scientific studies of Mars during the next few years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking_...
