Since 2023 I've been trying to contact O2 to sort out a phone contract that Virgin Media setup. I didn't want it but I had to have it to get a broadband deal. They didn't send the SIM and started billing me. They wouldn't talk to me as they couldn't "validate" me as they couldn't text my non-existent phone number and it then turned out they had the wrong email so couldn't do that either. Many months on after many frustrating phone calls I cancelled the direct debit and they then set a debt collection agency on me. I have FINALLY nearly sorted this out and I wanted you to hear this arduous recording to know why you should never use O2.
