Nanny arrested in assault of children caught on video in Morrisania | News 12

Police have arrested a nanny in connection to the abuse caught on video of young children in her custody in Morrisania. Nest video from the children’s room captured the nanny at a home in Morrisania in May. Police say the woman used a belt to hit a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old several times. A third child also appears in the videos. The family lawyer says the nanny’s name is Lakeysha Jackson and that she knew she was being recorded. News 12 has been told Jackson worked through the Administration for Children’s Services Homemaking Program.
