Whiting Bay drive Isle of Arran

A video of my drive through Whiting Bay going South from Lamlash towards Kildonan. Usually a video would be driving North with the sun behind you but today was cloudy so I took the chance to go 'the wrong way' without the camera being dazzled. Quite a few changes are coming for the village in the next wee while...Coast Restaurant is becoming a house, Cooriedoon Nursing Home has just closed and I don't know what it'll be used for in the future, Irene Greatorex's house has been sold (the big white art deco house in the cantre on the right....will it be demolished?) and Thomson's has just sold a lot of plots of land as well. In the end, as everyone in their right mind knows, Whiting Bay will always be amazing no matter what! :-) Music is by Eric Clapton this time...'Let It Grow'. Happy memories for me as it was the record I played the most of all on The Shurig pub's old jukebox in the 80's and 90's when it had actual records :-)‪@davetheraverovingtherock‬
