5 Ways To Improve Career/Story Mode in Gran Turismo | Gran Turismo 8 Thoughts

The concept of career mode in Gran Turismo is something which has only become worthy of discussion thanks to its recent titles: For the first 15 years of GT's legacy it was a given to have hundreds of events and races to complete, with cash payouts, prize cars - in some cases unique or secret vehicles, and themed or categorised races which felt genuinely fun to play. In recent years though it has become more of an afterthought - in the case of GT SPORT quite literally so, and even in GT7 and GT6, the 'story mode' was extremely paired down compared to what we've come to expect, almost completely in favour of online racing and eSports events. With this in mind, I have five ideas which I think would significantly improve the solo experience in a future 'Gran Turismo 8' if you will, which wouldn't have to replace the online aspect, but rather keep considering those of us who actually do enjoy - and in some cases even prefer - the single player experience...
