Cholangiocarcinoma ERCP Plastic Stent Placement- SQUARE HOSPITAL LTD. Dhaka Bangladesh

A 47 years old woman presented at SQUARE HOSPITALS LTD. Dhaka Bangladesh with Obstructive jaundice. we perform her ERCP and placed a plastic stent in the CBD. Procedure: E. R. C. P. with billiary stenting Indication: Obstructive jaundice Medication Under sedation FINDINGS: PAPILLA: Small juxtra papillary diverticulum is seen at the papilla. Bile flow seen. PANCREATOGRAM: Not attempted. CHOLANGIOGRAM: There is a sharp narrowing at mid half of the CBD up to hilum. The intrahepatic ducts are grossly dilated. Papillotomy is done with conventional papillotome. A 10Fr X 7cm plastic stent is implanted into the billiary tree duct across the narrowed segment with establishment of free flow of bile. COMMENTS: Findings are highly suggestive of Ca. GB involving the bile duct (Please see the description also). THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Papillotomy and billiary stenting done.
