Believe it because this actually happened! Absolutely insane to see Jeremiah just 6 years old hitting the milk jug on his very first shot. Although just 6 years old, Jeremiah is an avid shooter. His father Curtis won the Utah State Sniper Shoot in 2014 and is one of the best shooters in Utah. He spends a lot of time with Jeremiah and his older sister Quinny who recently won top lady at the Sanpete County Sniper shoot taking 22nd out of 43 shooters overall. Curtis took 3rd overall. Official MJC Rules: There are two ways to achieve the Official LRSu Milk Jug Challenge. Attend a live event Submit your own video for review and approval by LRSU. Rules for each are outlined below. General Rules: 1 - Distance must be verified by laser range finder, GPS or google earth and found to be clearly farther than the distance for the challenge that is being attempted. 2 - Each shooter has a maximum of 10 shots within 10 minutes. ABSOLUTELY NO SIGHTERS are allowed. 10 shots in 10 minutes is very generous in most cases. 3 - Shooters may attempt the challenge up to 3 times in a 24 hours period but must rest a minimum of 30 minutes between each attempt. **Live Event Rules 1.Attempts must be officiated by an LRSU official designated by Long Range Shooters of Utah, LLC. 2. Live attempts must be witnessed by 3 individuals (LRSU official included.) 3. Shooter has a maximum of 10 minutes to take their 10 shots. Time begins when the shooters name is called. 4. Upon confirmation by the official a successful shooter is presented with their LRSU Milk Jug Challenge Decal and is interviewed about their rifle, ammo, optics and experience shooting the challenge. Video of each successful shooter's attempt is posted to the LRSU YouTube Channel and the Milk Jug Challenge Roster (web address below.) Milk Jug Challenge Rosters can be found here: http://www.longrangeshootersofutah.co... 5. Separate challenges exist for 1000 yards, 1200 yards, 1500 yards and 1 Mile. **Submitted Videos Shooters that are unable to attend an official event in person have the option of submitting a properly filmed and formatted video to LRSU for review and potential approval. (Updated Rules as of February 2016) 1. Video must follow the same format as LRSU videos. This includes: Visual confirmation of the distance from the shooter to the target. ie zooming in and out, driving to the target on camera. Visual confirmation that all rules of the challenge were followed. ie no sighter shots, a clean target, etc. Shooter's interview discussing the make, model and components of his rifle, optics, ammo, how many shots it took, weather conditions and their experience shooting the challenge. (Please do not share specific load data) A camera showing the shooter and one showing the target is highly preferred and will greatly increase your likelihood of being approved. (This doesn't have to be a target cam per se as we'd like to see the distance as the camera zooms in and out.) 2. Completed video should be send as a link or compressed file to [email protected] or longrangeshootersofutah.com 3. Please include in writing the name, address and phone number of the shooter. Location of the range via google map link or coordinance. Rifles, optics and ammo specs. How many shots it took to complete the challenge. Join our Facebook Group - / longr. .
