COMPACT, DURABLE AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS! So first thing is first. This pedal is tiny, affordable, the big muff enclosure is durable and sounds great! There’s really not much to dislike about this pedal as it delivers on what it says it will and it comes in at a great price point making it an ideal to add to any Musician, Guitarist or Producers ‘Sound Toolbox’! 2. A VARIATION ON A CLASSIC TONE The other cool thing about this pedal is that it offers slightly different variations on the classic ‘Big Muff’ tone. Giving you a familiar yet more unique/less heard sound. The tone control is also great for ‘Intro’ and ‘Outro’ sections with it’s filter and can really create some fantastic dynamics in your performance quickly, easily and while still sounding great! 3. MAYBE MORE FEATURES? While we just previously mentioned that this pedal is a real winner, it would be nice to have a few more features and a more comprehensive EQ section to really shape the sound more than it is currently available. This is all of course possible to do once you have recorded your tone and shaped with external EQ’s etc but it would also be a great feature for people looking for this option in a more live ‘performance setting’. In Conclusion For any Musician, Producer or even just a Music Hobbyist you can’t really go wrong with the Size, Sound and Cost of this Fantastic Little Fuzz Pedal. As a Studio Producer/Performer I’ve loved adding it to my growing distortion pedal rack and think it can really add an extra and unique sounding dimension to any musicians toolbox and a widened sound palette that you can’t get from other overdrive units etc. As mentioned, while more knobs on the front and more features to shape the sound more precisely would most certainly be welcome, something special lies in the simplicity of the knobs and their basic layout. Also just moving the knobs slightly changes the sound significantly and this along with the settings on your amplifier and setup of your guitar/sound source etc you can get a surprisingly wide and rich array of tones and sonic possibilities!
