As soon as we got there, I felt like I wanted to move there! Uji is definitely a matcha lover's heaven. It's perfect for aesthetic cafe hopping and shopping for quality matcha and green tea. And we loved that it wasn't as busy as some of the other touristy locations in Kyoto. But the pottery class was such a lovely surprise and definitely a highlight of the trip!
