VARGO TI ARC titanium external frame backpack

This is the new pack made by Vargo. It exceeded my expectations so far and I will be taking it for a test trek soon to see how it feels after years with internal frame packs, hybrid frames and frame less packs. It is rated up to thirty pounds but these days my pack weight rarely exceeds fifteen pound and often is around ten pounds for a two day trek. I welcome the idea of being able to carry my favorite sleeping pad on the frame and still have loads of room for the rest of my gear. I have begun designing some really cool frame add-on's that will make my new pack more functional in the canyons I walk. Detachable of cores. I believe having the frame will free me up a bit and help carry the weight better, while keeping my back cooler and preventing some of the discomfort one gets after the tenth or eleventh hour of walking non stop.
