OTL That awkward pronunciation and accent I'm so sorry udghdfk English is not my first language and I'm still trying to get my accent right XDD;; JUST IN TIME FOR THE DEADLINE AASDFGJKH OTL My plan was to record in my school studio after the March Break (Which ended just this wek Monday) but I caught a nasty cold by the time I got to it. I skipped on Wednesday because the cold worsened and literally did everything I possibly could to make sure I get well today. Slightly sick voice + Horrible english + Gross actual sobbing = Grossness all over. XDDD I hope you still like it though!! I poured a lot of my emotions into this cover.. So much I literally cried thrice while singing and editing. THRICE. I kid you not. I bet you can hear it in my voice ;; u ;;''' -- Solo Battle - Explanation -- "What gives you hope?" This song is about a couple having a lot of problems between each other and eventually breaking up. How I interpret it, the girl is trying to convince herself that she doesn't need her lover, even though she does, because the problems they had together was too much. She says conflicting words in the lyrics, like she's battling her inner self about her lover and how to feel about him. It's personal, but I am currently going through something similar, so this song spoke a lot to me. You might wonder why I chose such a seemingly hopeless song, but there is always a silver lining in every struggle. It might sound ironic, but separation, particularly this one, gives me hope. Even though the pain is like nothing I can ever describe, the separation gives me the hope that my lover will find another, better person someday.
