We started with snorkeling at Mami Gili Outer Reef at the South Ari Atoll. Here we were lucky enough to see 2 whale sharks - 1 while snorkeling and the 2nd while scuba diving after. The reef at South Ari is incredible (not that you can tell from this dive because my filter was messed up). After this dive, we went to Mirrhi Reef nearby, which looked similar in topography - gorgeous corals, lots of life! At night time, the Maldives Aggressor staff set up a spotlight off the back of the boat so that the whale sharks could see the plankton and come for a buffet under the full moon. They stayed nearly the whole night! It was such a unique experience to be in the water with them as they came and went and came back! They were completely undisturbed by the few of us who jumped in to observe, as you'll see they nearly ran me over a few times. There was even a dolphin who swam through here and there as well 😍 Total bucket-list experience to be so close with these gentle giants all night! 🎵   / summer-2022-house-mix-vol-3
