Available here: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/lo... The all new Lost Surfboards Lazy Toy 2 is here! We recently relaunched the original Lazy Toy and it was such a hit that the next logical step was to get on the blower to Biolos and get the new version in the racks here at Boardshop. So stoked, it looks so much fun to surf. This all came about after we were sat round reminiscing about our favourite boards from back in the day and the Lazy Toy/Boy kept coming up so we had to make it happen. The new Lazy Toy 2 is slightly longer, more refined, version of the original Lazy Toy/Boy, with a more pulled down rail and diamond tail. Basically if you don't want to give up surfing shorter boards but need some paddle help, a bigger sweet spot and a forgiving feel the Lazy Toy 2 could be the board for you. This board is also a perfect choice for a first shorter board, that big sweet spot makes it a great board for easy progression. The Lazy Toy 2 is a classic combo of high volume and low rocker with a flat profile through the base of the board down to halfway. A double concave then kicks in to a vee through the tail. Sure you've read about this kind of set up loads of times but it really works in generating speed and loosening up the feel of the board. The rails are medium through to halfway and then firm up way ahead of the fins, this means you don't have to have your back foot over the fins to get it moving. Biolos really does know how to set up up rail profile/rocker line/fin placement to get the most out his boards. The Lazy Toy 2 also boasts an impressive wave range, its happy in thigh high on shore mush but can handle overhead waves just fine too. The Lazy Toy realistically deals with 80% of the waves you're likely to come across, it's a true one board quiver that will work for anyone from improving beginner looking for a first shorter board to a seasoned ripper loking for any easier ride without giving up performance. The fin set up is a 5 fin so you have the option to go thruster or quad, the quad set up is great for smaller weaker days when you're struggling to generate speed and the thuster gives you more control and precision and pivot on better days. This kind ofhybrid surfboard is user friendly and well suited to our waves. #surfboardreview #surfingboard
