Fighting off AUGMENTED INSECTIODS, Oh thank god THAT EXISTS!- Rimworld

The attack nails us and I know I could have fought it off alone, but I would've had over half my guys downed/injured for weeks. Instead I called in an ally along with us fighting them off. It made me realize a few things, one we are NOT as strong as I hoped, two we don't have nearly enough armor, weapons or turrets. That said we weathered the attack easily with our allies help and nabbed a bunch more quests to do. By basically spending money and not our bodies, we weren't really slowed at all. The base will continue to improve and expand and because now I know we're not as ready as I hoped, I'm going to make a very large push for armor, helmets, shield belts, and more defensive structures like walls, traps and turrets. The other group, goes and rescues a colonist that is VERY easy to trigger and they join right away, they get jumped, fight off the enemy and snag ONE of them too as a prisoner that I FULLY INTEND TO RELEASE, I won't be adding a volatile PYROMANIC to my ranks. It's mostly a play on 'hey, we want your faction to be friendly, lets save your dude even though you jumped us'. The group out there makes it's way back and all is well I think we REALLY need to fix our amount of quests and making sure I have the right number of colonists to take care of everything is starting to tell, basically I'm sending too many folks on these raids and I really shouldn't be.
