The Chromatic Mallet Harp: Deluxe 12-Tone Xylophone is a professional acoustic mallet percussion instrument with the quintessential Mallet Harp sound. *Order Chromatic Mallet Harp: https://www.didgeproject.com/product/... Featuring a full piano/keyboard layout which spans 2 full octaves, the Chromatic Mallet Harp is conducive to playing any music using western harmony, including, but not limited to playing from sheet music, playing popular songs with standard chord changes, composing music and improvising over chord changes. The structure of the Chromatic Mallet Harp places the sharp/flat notes in an upper row, above and behind the natural notes. The sharp/flat notes (i.e. all instances of C#, D#, F#, G# and A#) are joined together into one long section (upper row), while the the natural notes (i.e. all instances of C, D, E, F, G, A and B) are joined together into another long section (lower row). The two sections fit together in a piano-like arrangement of sharps and naturals. Watch our video to see how the pieces fit together. The note range of the Chromatic Mallet Harp extends from A below middle C (A3) at the bottom, up to A5, two full octaves higher, including all notes in-between.
