I'm super excited to share with you how I made a whopping $2,125 in just one week driving for Uber. That's right. I'll be breaking down exactly how I averaged around $300 per day, and how you can do it too! In this video, we'll dive into several key topics: 1. The Bell Curve of Earnings I'll explain how my daily earnings resembled a bell curve. I started with smaller fares, gradually picked up higher-paying rides, hit a peak, and then saw smaller fares again as I headed home. Understanding this pattern can help you maximize your income throughout the day. 2. Are Tips Being Stolen by Uber and Lyft? Have you ever felt like your tips are lower than expected? I'll discuss whether Uber and Lyft might be keeping some of our hard-earned tips or if it's just a coincidence. I'll share my own experiences and why I suspect something might be off, especially when comparing my Prop 22 payments and tip amounts. 3. Tuesday: Made $277 in the app, and picked up a family friend from the airport for $110, bringing the day's total to $387. Wednesday: Took a half-day off but still made $111 driving in the evening. Thursday: Earned $317 in the Uber app. Friday: Made $229 in the app. The evening was slow, so I decided to call it a day and head home. Saturday: Earned $310. In this video, I'll go over every single ride from that day in detail. I'll explain how I cherry-picked rides, what I learned, and what I was working on in the background. Sunday: Made $180 in the Uber app and earned an additional $255 by taking friends to the SoFi football game, totaling $435. Part 2 of this video will go over Sunday. A key thing to note is that I received $125 from Prop 22 payments. Interestingly, I only got $183 in tips, which is lower than my usual $250 to $300. When you add the Prop 22 money and the tips, it totals $308. This makes me wonder, could Uber be holding onto our tips and giving them back to us as Prop 22 payments?
