I am using this to show people who Allen Bestwick is as a former NASCAR commentator and informing fans who are new to NASCAR some of his famous calls. DISCLAIMER: This video is just based on my opinion. I may have forgotten some calls, so if I did, I'm sorry. There's way too many. Plus, these are only his Cup Series calls on television. You will NOT see Xfinity calls, IndyCar calls, or any calls on the Motor Racing Network. This has really been a holiday tradition ever since 2017, which has become my two most viewed videos. We continue the tradition, and this year, I decided through many requests to do former NASCAR play-by-play voice for ESPN and NBC/TNT, Allen Bestwick. Because there are a lot of excellent calls by him, why not do a Top 15 instead? Allen made his full-time lap-by-lap commentary debut in 2001 for NBC and Turner Sports, before demoted to pit reporter for the two in 2005. In 2007, he moved to ESPN on a utility role of play-by-play, pit reporter, and studio host before getting moved up to full-time Cup Series play-by-play in 2011 until it's ending in 2014 when he did IndyCar lap-by-lap as well as college athletics and Tennis play-by-play until his layoff in 2017-18.
