VN24 - 03-03-2025 (D/M/Y) - Werl A44 / Germany - At around 2:10 p.m., an accident involving a truck occurred on the A44 highway eastbound near Werl. Presumably due to an attack of weakness, the driver of a so-called suction and flushing truck veered to the right off the two-lane A44 freeway and drove into a ditch. The truck drove up an embankment and then lay on its left side. The trapped driver was rescued by the fire department through the roof hatch of the driver's cab and was taken to hospital.
