Hey JDG family! In today’s video, I participated in Access Surf — this was probably my 7th time volunteering, and I truly enjoy being a part of it every single time. The main goal of Access Surf is to help people get onto the beach so they can surf, swim, and most importantly, stay safe. We help disabled veterans, civilians, and individuals with different challenges experience the ocean in a way that’s accessible and fun. It’s such an amazing feeling to be part of something bigger than yourself. I love volunteering because seeing people smile and enjoy their day means everything to me. Everyone on the team has a different role, but each role is just as important in making the day successful. I hope you watch the full video and see how special this experience really is.
