The exercises and etudes become more challenging as the lesson progresses and by the end we are playing really nice shuffle etude I wrote. The last piece is not beginner. In most cases we are playing either rhythm or lead guitar. This is a great opportunity to learn how to do both at the same time.  Counterpoint is a beautiful thing.  Although I have created a series of exercises and musical pieces to get you started my hope is that once you learn them you can improvise freely while maintaining the rhythm and form while a droning bass line over a 12 bar blues in E. This is really fun once you get going!
