I lost my car a year ago and cut my yearly transportation costs between $2500 and $3500. I have been learning how to take Uber, and the local bus, but mostly use my low-cost eBikes and folding commuter bike. The tradeoff is a reduction in the total freedom of mobility a personal car gives us. With a car, I can go anywhere at any time. However, I am at a time in my life when I do not want to go that many places and would prefer people visit me than travel to see others. Also, there is freedom from the burden of owning a very expensive car any idiot can wreck while they are driving while on their phone or on drugs or booze. My choices are not the answer for everybody but may help those with similar situations as mine who were unaware of how to make the changes needed. The low-cost Ancheer Gladiator eBike has a few features that set it apart from many other eBikes.
