We are blessed to have plenty of Standing dead on our Off Grid property, Winters can be long and cold where we live in North Central British Columbia. As Ingrid and I just entering our 70s, know we need to stay strong and in shape, because the demands of living in the wilderness and subsisting on what we grow, harvest from the wilds or raise ourselves to feed us, requires being healthy and fit. Add in fencing, logging, milling wood and clearing land, we can't afford not to be. ask a lot of ourselves. All that considered, we will live out our lives doing just what we love to do, right here in the bush, with only Grizzly bears, Moose, Elk Deer, a myriad of upland game birds, and a lakefront view of thousands of waterfowl, including Trumpeter Swans, to add drama, adventure and variety to our lives. Why would we be anywhere else?! Thanks for tuning in.
