With Gravios being back in Wilds and looking better than ever (I'm personally a big fan of its redesigned head, with a longer chin and shorter horn) I decided now would be a good time to showcase the Zenith individual fight. I made a Gravios video not too long ago and, as usual, I dislike making multiple videos on the same monster so close to each other (with the, I hope, understandable exception of the Wilds beta) but that one was before Gravios was confirmed to return to Wilds. Zenith Gravios is also so incredibly different than GU's G Rank Gravios that I believe you will just consider this its own fight or straight up a completely different monster. Zenith Gravios is an incredibly dangerous Zenith monster that has a lot of one shot potential. Running this monster without protection against the extreme realms is deadly, as Zenith Gravios uses extreme earthquakes a lot, and also purposely extreme roars a lot, allowing it to immobilize Hunters on the floor for its deadly lava pool attacks, which are a guaranteed cart, no matter how much healing you receive from your allies. Its moveset in general is extremely AoE heavy, and it has massive range around Gravios. Evasion+2 is very nice to have since these moves don't linger, and using the Zenith Artful Dodger skill (the one that deals damage to the monster when you dodge through a attack close to them) is very fun, since you'll see me dodge through so many in this run. It's an amazing skill for Hammer that keeps some damage up over time, since you can't keep your charge level after dodging. Now Zenith Gravios is of course not without weaknesses. In fact, it's one of the most extreme cases of Zenith species where breaking their Zenith overgrown, overdevelopped body part (in this case, Gravios' torso and back) nerfs them. For Zenith Gravios, it's critical: breaking its torso one time severely reduces the range of many of its moves, such as removing the big lava plumes it produces with some of its attacks. Breaking it a second time transforms Zenith Gravios into a pathetic, almost vanilla Gravios that doesn't have any range anymore, can't perform its ultimate, has severely nerfed moves, AND cannot enter rage mode anymore. It's one of the cool things about Zenith monsters, making part breaks really matter against them. They start ridiculously powerful, but if you manage to get that partbreak, then the fight becomes slightly less difficult and allows you to finish them off without as much worry!
