Mount Shasta Ski Park 2024/2025 Season Opener! Starting our 17th season here at the Mt Shasta SkiPark. Skies were grey and visibility was poor. On the positive side, it took less than 5 minutes to pick up our snowboarding season passes. We only waited about 1 minute to get on the Douglas chair lift, then no waiting at the Coyote or Marmot chairlifts. We absolutely love the Mount Shasta Ski Park. It's a great locally run ski "resort"! I took a look at the new virgin Mary statue at the Ski Park and I think personally it is at least, somewhat tasteful and not overboard and grandiose, as was the concern voiced by some folks in the social media when the statue was announced. We only snowboarded down 3 runs today, but it was great to be back up on on my snowboard and the mountain at the "Park"! I have tons of video content from the ski park and also of the summer program of years gone by when they used to have a mountain bike program.
