TOP 8 THINGS TO DO IN ARNHEM- THE NETHERLANDS Arnhem is my hometown and a lovely historically city in The Netherlands. Is still love that I'm able to live in this beautiful city. 1. Visiting Eusebius church. A beautiful 15th century church. It was damaged by World War || but it's been fully renovated. 2. Sonsbeek park. A very lovely city park, which was an estate park 250 years ago. 3. Visit the city centre. The centre has a lot of old buildings, you only have to look up to see some of the buildings of the 15th, 16th and 17th century buildings. You can see the 'Aartvarken' or spike pig near to the library. The 'Devils building, close to the church and of course the postoffice or 'postkantoor'. 4. Go to Meinderswijk, just over the bridge to see some bisons and horses walking in the wild. 5. While you are in the city centre, look for Art Deco or Jugenstill moments. You can see them looking up and sometimes even in stores. This still was very elegant and came in the 1920's. 6. Go to Veluwe park to enjoy one of the Netherlands most beautiful nature reserves. You can go walking or biking. Either way, you will have a wonderful time. You can see dear and wild pigs during sundown. 7. Learn more about World War || at the airborne centre. Arnhem was a very crucial city during the war. (Watch the movie 'A bridge to far' for more information.) 8. Enjoy the River Rhine.
