Ingredients: 30 vanilla caramels 2 tablespoons stick margarine or butter 2 tablespoons water 1/2 cup chopped peanuts 3 tablespoons hot water 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 oz package cream cheese 1/3 cup powdered sugar 2 cups heavy whipping cream 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Chocolate chips and chocolate curls for toppings, if desired Link to peanut butter cookies recipe: • Homemade Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe- 1. Crush peanut butter cookies and prepare crust. 2. Heat caramels, margarine, and 2 tbsp water in 1 1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted. Pour into crust. Sprinkle with peanuts, and refrigerate for about an hour or until chilled. 3. Beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over caramel and peanuts; refrigerate. 4. Pour heavy whipping cream into medium mixing bowl and use an electric hand mixer, whip heavy cream until very stiff peaks form. 5. In seperate bowl, using same mixer (no need to clean) set on low speed, mix peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until combined. 6. Increase speed to high and whip until fluffy, about 1 minute. 7. Add whipped cream to peanut butter mixture and fold until evenly combined. 8. Pour mixture into pie crust and spread into an even layer. 9. Freeze 1 hour or refrigerate for 4 hours. 7. Decorate with chocolate chips and chocolate shavings (if desired).
