Born on 21 October 1887 in an elite Bhumihar Brahmin family of Khanwan village under Narhat police station of Nawada Dile, Bihar, Sribabu served Bihar for a lifetime and was a resplendent politician of contemporary Indian politics. He was the first Chief Minister of the monolithic Bihar state of India, he held this post from 1946 to 1961. Shrikrishna Sinha was known as a struggling, militant and visionary Congress leader. He was also known as the pioneer of social justice and communal harmony. It was said about him that when he left Patna for Delhi, the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's throne seemed to be shaken, that is, he had no match in contemporary politics. Dr. Srikrishna Sinha is said to have been a man of determination since childhood. After completing his primary education from the primary school in the village, he went to Munger's district school for further studies after getting a scholarship. At the same time, he passed the first examination in 1906 for admission to Patna College. He then earned an M.A degree in 1913 and a B.L from the University of Calcutta in 1914. After completing his education, Sribabu started practicing in Munger. In 1911 he met Mahatma Gandi, after which his life took a new turn, after meeting Mahatma Gandhi, he had become a staunch follower of him. After becoming active in the freedom movement, his thunder began to tremble, due to which he was awarded the title of Bihar Kesari. He was imprisoned for the first time in 1911, in fact, he agitated for the boycott of the visit of the Crown Prince of Wales to India. In March 1911, it was decided at the Vijayawada Congress that a fund of 1 crore rupees be collected for the Tilak Swarajya Fund, then Dr. Srikrishna Sinha was made the convenor for the Tilak Swarajya Fund created by the Bihar Provincial Congress Committee. Sribabu had become active in the freedom struggle, he made Garhpura his work place. When Mahatma Gandhi took the Dandi Yatra in Gujarat during the Civil Disobedience Movement and dissolved the black salt law of English rule, then on the call of Gandhiji, Bihar Kesari Shri Krishna Sinha crossed the Ganges river from Munger to about 100 kilometers long and annoying padyatra of Garhpura The British broke the black salt law with their allies in Durgagachi. Mahatma Gandhi called him the first Satyagrahi of Bihar after the historic Salt Satyagraha of Garhpura. He built Azad India's first refinery in Barauni, Azad India's first fertilizer factory, Sindri and Barauni chemical fertilizer factories, Asia's largest engineering factory in Hatia, the country's largest steel plant in Bokaro, after independence from Gangotri. He built Rajendra Bridge, the first rail-cum-road bridge between Gangasagar, besides making universities in cities like Bhagalpur, Ranchi, he also made a meaningful effort to bring revolution in education. When Bihar was partitioned in 2000, some things went to Jharkhand. Appellavi, a noted economist of the Ford Foundation appointed by Parliament at the time, in his report considered Bihar as the best governed state in the country and described Bihar as the second best economy in the country.
