Winner of Australian Survivor S2 Jericho Malabonga joined us at Pistahan Festival to raise awareness on mental wellness. “Coronavirus is like the invisible enemy, but don’t we already have an invisible enemy that‘s so silent, which is the mental illness that you can bring home,” says Jericho. “You can close the doors, turn off the lights, and what’s still turned on is the mind inside of you, telling you and whispering to you the things to be anxious of and to be stressed about. “ During these uncertain times, taking care of our mental health is more important than ever. At Pistahan, Jericho shared why he advocates for mental health awareness — especially amongst men — in a talk with Eddy M. Gana Jr. (Head of Mental Health Outreach Program, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA)). The replay is now available on Pistahan YouTube 📺.
