This road, very less taken through reserved forests of Mulli and Kundah Valleys, is a very scenic and beautiful ghat section with almost 43 short and dangerous hairpin bends. You will be stopped at the forest checkpost after you cross Velliankadu. You will be allowed to pass only with a valid reason. The chances of you not allowed to enter this section is high due to wild animal crossing. Have to take left from Karamadai when you drive from Coimbatore. Pass through Geddai, Mulli, and Kundah to reach Manjur. This is one of the heavy elephant corridors in Tamil Nadu.
