First off, let me say welcome! Hi errbody! Thanks for showing up, we love getting to have meaningful conversations with loved ones on topics that can be a bit sensitive or less talked about. Especially this one. Right after Valentine’s Day where that can spark a lot of feelings regarding being single, feeling lonely, being in a relationship that isn’t very romantic, etc… so thanks for receiving this video with grace! Now on yo the encouragement… Can I just say that I’m tired of not enjoying my process. You know when God told Abraham that he would have more descendants than the stars in the sky (or was in sand in the beaches? Anyways) but it was a brutal process getting there. We read of the stress, the decisions to force things, and how the process was not very enjoyable. But God, in His goodness, did His thing and brought to pass what He promised Abraham. I wonder if at the end of Abraham’s life if he thought, man, I should’ve kept my confident joy in the lord, although I trusted Him, I didn't fully enjoy the process like I should have... And honestly that's me. My words say I trust Him and I really do believe I trust Him, but sometimes my actions and my thoughts say "but what if?", and "this is too hard." So now, what I'm feeling is, I want to carry a confident joy in the season of no matter how big the mountain seems, I can enjoy the process that God is carrying me through. Love yall, Chad & Tori 1.
