We waited patiently from 8 AM until late afternoon, battling morning fog and intense midday heat, just to get the perfect shot. Since the Common Crane is incredibly shy, capturing it required shooting from a massive distance. But the long wait was entirely worth it! For many of us, this was a "Mega Lifer," and the sharp, detailed images we captured of the crane's feathers and eyes made every exhausting minute fade away.
