http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - Rossy de Palma, a Spanish actress and model and muse for designers like Jean-Paul Gaultier and Thierry Mugler, opened the Manish Arora show wearing a metallic halter top minidress with cutouts at the collar and told models behind her (all wearing theatrical unique ensembles) to sit in chairs lined up on the runway. Ironically enough, the clothes themselves weren't as over the top as we were originally expecting. Then again, they're not the kind of pieces you would wear to the supermarket. There was pearl mesh, peplum dreses, satin and sequins (together!), feathers, and a photo print but in Manish Arora's typical style, they were pushing the boundaries of color and theatricality. The most unique of course, the tops that looked like window shades.
