Extract from Helen Petts' concert "Throw Them Up and Let Them Sing" at the Sage Gateshead on the 30th June 2012, during her exhibition of the same name at the Hatton Gallery, Newcastle. 'Schwolpe' starts with an improvised piano solo by Steve Beresford using or not using elements suggested by Stefan Wolpe's music for Kurt Schwitter's poem 'An Anna Blume'. Adam Bohman later improvises on objects. He supplied a set of words for them both to say, drawn from the English translation of the piece. He limited himself to words beginning with letters from the name 'Kurt Merz Schwitters'. http://www.twmuseums.org.uk/hatton/th...
