This summer I moved to the Northwoods of Minnesota! I’ll be working at a lodge here and exploring all around here. I am living right on the edge of the boundary waters! The privilege of living and working in such a beautiful area is not lost on me. I hope to inspire adventure and encourage other outdoor women to visit the area and get out there! In this video I hike the Laurentian Divide short trail by Birch Lake. The short trail is right along the gunflint trail. You can hike and picnic here with family and friends. I highly recommend this location for those with small children who cannot stand to hike long distances. I love this spot. Hopefully you have great weather when you decide to visit.
