Sesshomaru's promise - SessRin Family [Yashahime AMV]

For SessRin week, I wanted to capture the story of HnY from Sesshomaru's perspective. While we don't know what his plan is, we know that his intention is to keep his promise to Rin and his family. He has to keep his girls safe. Of course, things aren't going as he hoped. For once, Sesshomaru has too many fronts open and his years of living as a lone wolf, making enemies instead of friends, is taking its toll on his family. I wanted to capture the impotence of a daiyokai that, despite his unparalleled strength, cannot protect everyone he loves at once. We've seen a physically depressed Sesshomaru in this show, and that speaks volumes to his emotional state. He wanted to give Rin the life she wished for, a life beside him. Instead, she's holding on to dear life inside of a tree watching her daughters suffer. Hope you enjoy it/don't cry too much.
