BC Adventures... Hiking Mt Seymour

We're in Vancouver BC currently and trying to get some hiking, biking and kayaking in before winter. We'll take a hike up to Mt. Seymour on the Vancouver North Shore and check it out. It's listed as a moderate hike - about 9km round trip. The fitbit ( http://amzn.to/2wj1fzZ )reported 250 flights of stairs climbed when the day was done. Definitely get there early in the morning to avoid the crowds as it is a busy hike! And PLEASE pack out your trash - chocolate bar wrappers, coffee cups, and tissue paper is making an otherwise beautiful trail ugly! For those interested in my hydration/backpack, it's a molle tactical bag from Camelbak ( http://amzn.to/2wdwnCN ). I carry 3L of water, plus a basic day rated first aid bag ( http://amzn.to/2vEfdKO ) and a few other survival items. You also hear a bear bell ( http://amzn.to/2vlOXd9 ), but I question the effectiveness of those. I wear Scarpa hiking boots ( http://amzn.to/2wDQZVA ) to protect my feet.
