Unveiled at the International Motor and Automobile Exhibition in Berlin in February 1936, it replaced the 170. With the same engine capacity of 1.7 liters, it was more powerful, more modern, and more affordable than its predecessor. Unlike the 170 H which was offered in parallel, here the engine was placed at the front, which is reflected in the name. V stands for "Vorn", which means "front" in German. This example is a two-door sedan from the first period of production, in fully restored condition.
