ACU Belle Trailers Ladies & Girls Trials Championship Round 1 2021 - Hookwood Trials Club Round 1 - the opening round of the Ladies & Girls Trials Championship held on 17th July 2021 at the Hookwood Trials club venue, at West Horsley, Surrey on Saturday 17th July 2021. This is - Part 1 - of a two-part upload, with Part 1 covering an hour's footage of the first half of the event, and Part 2 covering the rest including the awards at the end. Part 1 can be found at: • ACU Belle Trailers British Ladies & Girls ... With previous ladies' champ, Jess Bown heavily committed with the future ace production programme (I understand aided by a large input from Chris Alford), and Chris's sis' Louise opting to ride the Reeth event, and no sign of Hannah Styles, Gabby Whitham or Victoria Payne, then there was always going to be a stir-up of the likely podium positions in the top class. See Part 2 for the results. If you're one of the riders in this event and wish to critique your riding, then I've covered 90% plus of the entry - but apologies for those I missed! The feedback from some riders is that you like to see your bad rides as much as your good 'uns so you can watch and learn from where it all went wrong. Hence, I don't leave those fives in to make anyone feel uncomfortable; it is, so I am told, what you want to see. But let me know if you think differently! As always, a slickly managed event by the Hookwood Trials Club observers and officials, and of course, held at what must be one of the country's top trials venues. And it was dry. Finally, if this is appreciated, a 'thumbs up' and/or any comments would be appreciated. Nigel McGoldrick
