In the year 2345CE, humanity no longer exists. In their place is a society comprised entirely of cyborgs. These new superbeings exist in a state of total order, kept in line by a staggeringly intelligent AI simply called "MIND". Possessing a baseline intelligence of the equivalent of roughly 500IQ by human standards, you are a newly-created Mark III HC-006 gynoid machine, a type of general purpose cyborg capable of numerous tasks, unlike the vast majority of highly specialized robots that populate most of this new world. In New Neon City, the heart of this new society, your first objective is to find and secure housing, for even cyborgs must live somewhere. Who knew that this most simple act could set off a crazy sequence of events... "Nymtora: City Of 1000 LEDs" is a semi-cozy cyberpunk game loosely based on games like Palia and The Sims. Although far from finished, its progress has been making big leaps as of late. The subtitle, as you can probably tell, is based on "city of a thousand lights". In the game, you build your own property, can travel around exploring the various aspects of the city and (eventually) beyond, engage with numerous skills and make yourself better at them, and discover all of the interesting little secrets about this new society and what happened to the race that provided the genetic material that forms the basis of your organic components. In this strange new world, all other things human in origin have been banned and destroyed, with your organic genetics being the only link to the humans of the past. Even things like art and music that are human in origin are illegal and destroyed on discovery, meaning that all you see or hear is made by a robot of some kind. Possessing human art, music, toys, vehicles, etc. of any kind can lead to being dismantled, and "MIND" already knows if you own such things, as it regularly scans the memory banks of every cyborg under its jurisdiction. This video is an example of some of the music you can play on a radio device in the game, such as one you can place inside of your home or can turn on in a car or on a motorcycle. As per the rules of this new society, it is 100% generated by a robot, known in-game as "SYNTH 002". All of the footage in this video is from a site called Pexels, where you can download thousands of high-quality clips for free. No, I am not sponsored by them or anything, I just use their clips a lot, so maybe you might find something useful there too. In our meatspace world here, the music contained within this video is public domain, as it was generated via algorithm, so anyone is free to reuse it for any purpose.
