Recovery is a journey of the self, through the self, and to the self. To understand the recovery process it is important to understand the meaning of each word. To recover means: to regain something that has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. Process means: A series of actions or steps, taken in a specific order, to achieve a certain outcome. Recovery Process : A series of actions or steps, taken in a specific order to regain something that has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. In this talk we will provide you with simple, easy to understand ideas and concepts that will help you gain a deeper understanding of the recovery process. To truly understand addictions, you will need to learn what it is that the addicts finds or hopes to find from the drink, the drug, or the addictive behavior.
