The ShiftSteer™ drawbar is just the latest innovation delivered by our creative, highly experienced and capable design team. ShiftSteer™ was born when we were approached to build a hooklift trailer for use in the dense, tree-packed Austrian forests. Our customer required a bespoke hooklift trailer. One capable of effectively maneuvering within tight spaces, while still offering the same level of efficiency and reliability that customers come to expect from HookLoada. The Stronga ShiftSteer™ drawbar is enabled when the user manually disconnects the mechanism on the drawbar. This allows the operator to subsequently shift the hooklift chassis to the left or right, depending on requirements. After months of hard work and hours of reliable forestry operation, the mid-range HL210 HookLoada model yet again proves it’s considerable worth for high output, professional contractors. As well as ShiftSteer™, this particular hooklift trailer came fitted with many other optional innovations specified by the end user. Among the innovations were: • PowerTrak™ Drive Axle – PowerTrak™ delivers extra torque when conditions demand more. This clever innovation integrates tractor and trailer so they operate as one, rather than independently, helping to reduce slippage in difficult underfoot surfaces. • Special Forest Tyres with Special Rims – These hard-wearing tyres deliver excellent reliability and performance in the difficult conditions the end user works in on a daily basis. • Crane-Mounting Space – The Stronga design team left space for the end user to mount a crane at the front of the hooklift trailer. This allows the operator to easily drive up to felled timber, pick it up and load it onto the hooklift trailer. The outcome is a highly efficient forestry operation.
