China's construction machinery sector gears up as demand soars

With major infrastructure projects happening across China, companies that make construction equipment there are seeing an increase in sales. At a plant that manufactures loaders in Huzhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province, production lines are running at full capacity. The head of the factory's manufacturing department said orders have gone up by about 150 percent this year, requiring them to work overtime to keep up with demand. Other companies that make loaders say their orders have been scheduled through the third quarter of this year. To ensure timely deliveries, many factories have taken measures to accelerate the production process.
