Of all the Dragon Rulers who presided over the Earth; Redox was the one most influenced by man's innovations. Redox collected all manors of machinery and odd mechanisms. Tired of the ridicule he faced from his brethren, Redox gathered all the motorized parts, gears, and metal he could carry and ventured off to a distant cave to tinker with his belongings. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, months turned to years, and years turned to decades. Time had no meaning to this elemental dragon, but eventually his mischievous nature paid off. No longer did he hold a pile of scrap metal and loose gears; he built not one, but three mechanical wonders, and named them his Gadgets. These Gadgets were unlike any other machine as they seemed to have a mind of their own. Although they could not talk, they each had a separate personality to them. For this reason Redox decided to paint them each a different color based off their character. One was Red for his fiery temper, one was Green for its love of nature, and one was Yellow for its inquisitive mind. Although Redox cherished the Gadgets, he knew he could build something more dynamic and was about to set out to construct his ultimate creations, the Machinas, when he heard a voice he thought he would never hear again. Redox ran to the entrance of the cave and saw his former pupil, Pebbles. Pebbles was but a baby Dragon Ruler last he saw him, but now he was fully grown, and half alive. Redox kneeled down to his fallen comrade and asked what had happened? With his dying breath Peddles told Redox of a great evil that has spread across the planet in his absence. A form of dark magic that seemed to possess every human that came in contract with it. A darkness that if not stopped, could consume everything, a darkness known as, Infernity...
