Full disassembly and reassembly of a Canon FL 50mm f1.4 II lens. Lens is disassembled to access the diaphragm, optics, mechanical components, and body sections individually. This is a very solidly constructed lens that is also pretty repairable. The only challenge was accessing the back of the diaphragm, which required removing the back elements individually (there may be a cleaner way to do this). This makes putting back together the lens more challenging. During reassembly of the back element, my spanning wrench fractured and one of the elements was chipped (this happened off screen). This was not related to the instructions in the video itself, but you should be careful reassembling the back optics as it is easy to scratch or damage them if you are not careful.
