Umbraco’s flexible, open-source content management system (CMS) is built on the .NET stack. With Umbraco, you can add or remove components to create custom online solutions including websites, chatbots, or even enterprise solutions. The API provides multiple ways to integrate your other solutions into Umbraco. In this video, we'll show how you can use Azure services to run the Umbraco CMS. To make a scalable Umbraco setup on Azure, we'll use the following services: Web Apps, Storage, SQL database, Traffic Manager, and CDNs. Presenters: Henk Boelman, Callum Whyte Henk Boelman (@hboelman) is a Microsoft Cloud Advocate specializing in artificial intelligence and Azure, with a background in application development. He’s currently part of the regional cloud advocate team based in the Netherlands. Before joining Microsoft, he was a Microsoft AI MVP and worked as a developer and architect building AI-powered platforms on Azure. Callum Whyte (@callumbwhyte) is a Microsoft MVP and a Tech Lead at Bump Digital, specializing in building robust scalable microservice and serverless systems on the .NET stack, as well as websites with the open source Umbraco CMS. Callum also organizes community events—from local meetups and hackathons to the annual Umbraco UK Festival.
