The process of making lavender infused oil. 💜 This batch is going to be made with grapeseed oil and lavender flowers.💜 Grapeseed oil absorbs quickly and provides long-lasting hydration. It’s a great massage oil, as well. I’m starting with 2 clean and dry jars with lids. Fill 3/4 jar with lavender flowers. Next, fill jar with grapeseed oil completely covering and saturating the lavender flowers. Mix and fill more oil almost to the top. The less air the better. Screw top on tightly then mix and shake jar. This lavender infused oil will take 4-6 weeks. Because I’m using clear jars for this process, they will be stored in paper bags to protect from sunlight. (Amber, blue or green jars help to protect the oil from the sun as well.). These jars will be stored in a warm spot during infusion period and I will periodically shake them to make sure everything is evenly distributed.
