after my time with the Lifechanyuan family, I made my way back to Chiang Mai. I took a bus from Tha Thon to Chiang Mai and then dropped my bags off at the hostel before going to a drag show! 6ixcret Show was amazing and there was so much talent, I would 10/10 recommend going to see it for yourself! I got my Chinese Visa sorted and made my way to Earth Home, an eco farm and home stay. I took the white Songthaew from the bus station to the end of the line. From there I hitchhiked the rest of the way to Earth Home (as they described the journey themselves on their website! https://www.earthhomethailand.com). On arrival, there was lunch ready and I had my own little personal mud house with ensuite! I loved staying here as it was so peaceful and quiet and surrounded by nature. We did some mud brick making and we learned a lot of technical skills as well as some lessons in how to approach life and society’s pressures. It was amazing to visit PunPun (http://www.punpunthailand.org) as well, where they practice sustainable living through seed saving, natural building and appropriate technology.
