Hello Little Chefs, The Brownie video went over so well last week, that I again chose Jamie Oliver as my inspiration. This week, I will show you how (sort of) easy it is to make a gourmet Carrot Loaf (cake). I have linked the recipe below along with the rather large amount of ingredients you will need. It may look like a lot of work, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed, well in me maybe, but not in the loaf (if you do it right) Ingredients 250 g unsalted butter, softened 250 g light brown soft sugar 5 large free-range eggs 1 zest and juice of orange 170 g self-raising flour, sifted 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder 100 g ground almonds 100 g walnuts, shelled and chopped , plus a handful for serving 1 heaped teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 pinch ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 250 g carrots, peeled and coarsely grated sea salt http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/ve...
