New Russian Light Machine Gun RPL-20 (РПЛ-20) Shooting by Russian Airborne Force (VDV)

Russia just deployed a new Light Machine Gun (LMG) RPL-20 (РПЛ-20) from Kalashnikov Concern to test in real conflict in Ukraine after this gun completes state tests and enters serial production in early 2025, and Kalashnikov Company just delivered the first batch of this machine gun to the Russian Armed Forces. This first batch of machine guns had some features based on feedback from Russian soldiers in Ukraine, who wanted the weapon to have modifications for effective combat, like this gun has Multicam Camo paint already on the gun. The RPL-20 light machine gun, when delivered to Russian soldiers, will come with a weapon accessory, a suppressor. This gun has two versions of barrel: Short and Long onces. RPL-20 is a new Russian Light Machine Gun (LMG) chambered with 5,45x39mm AK-74 rounds. This gun was revealed in 2020 and is like its Russian counterpart version Western FN Minimi M249 SAW.
